The JV Raptors continue to swing hot bats with a 9-3 win over Dickson County.
Brennan Whitten, Matthew Smith, Connor Patton, and Will Myers pitched very well on the mound by holding the opposition to three runs and only four hits. For the second night in a row the bats came alive which led to nine runs on thirteen hits. The Raptor base runners aided in the offensive production by adding nine stolen which led to many R.B.I. situations all night for the hitters. "The team continues to improve each game and are playing their best baseball at the right time of the year." Raptors coach Danny Borne said. "Our game plan worked to perfection tonight offensively. We have been talking to the kids all year about not chasing pitches out of the hitting zone in advantage counts and we made their pitchers pay tonight for falling behind in the count."
The Raptors will play Summit in the semifinals on Saturday at 1:30.
