5th inning rally sparks blow out win over Centennial

The bats stayed hot from the South Fort Myers game in Florida as the Raptors beat Centennial 11-1.

The Raptors jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first inning off a Davis Elliot RBI grounder scoring Ryan Beamish. The scoring continued in the top of the 3rd with hits from Hagen Severance, Beamish, Elliott and a double off the wall from Drew Haynie. When the inning was over 3 more runs had crossed the plate.

The score stayed that way until the top of the 5th when the Raptors blew it open with hits from Elliott, Haynie, Darrell Freeman, Tyler Craig, Matthew Dudas, Ryan Pope, and Bryce Denton. When the inning was finished 7 runs had crossed and the Raptors held an 11-0 lead.

The game ended in the bottom of the 5th when the cougars could only scratch across 1 run and the game was called on the run rule.

The Raptors had 13 hits lead by Davis Elliot, Bryce Denton, Drew Haynie and Ryan Beamish all with 2.

Micah Kaczor pitched a fantastic complete 1 hitter with 4 strikeouts and 1 base on balls.


The Raptors next game against Centennial is Wednesday 3/26 at Centennial and then 3/27 at home to finish the series. See you at the Park!
