Raptors come alive in 6-2 win over Summit

Micah Kaczor dominated the Summit batters with a 3 hit complete game. Kaczor was dialed in from the first pitch and did not allow a base runner until the 5th inning. With an 11 strike out, no walk outing the Raptors played good defense behind Kaczor when he did allow someone to put a ball in play. The Raptors had only 2 errors, in only allowing 2 runs.

The bats also came back alive for the Raptors. There were 8 hits, led by Davis Elliot and Hagan Severance who had 2 a piece. Ryan Beamish, Bryce Denton, Bailey Whitten and Matthew Dudas also contributed with 1 hit.

The scoring started in the bottom of the 1st when Severance turned a single into a double with impressive hustle. Two batters later he scored on a single by Elliott. The scoring stayed there until the top of the 5th inning when Summit tied the score at 1-1. In the bottom of the inning the Raptors pushed across 4 runs to take a 5-1 lead. Summit was able to add another run in the top of the sixth with the Raptors adding another in the bottom half of the inning.
