FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The next big phase of cleanup following a tanker truck crash on Interstate 65 at Peytonsville Road will take place starting Friday, September 19.
Starting at 8 p.m. Friday, I-65 will be shut down in both directions so crews can take down and remove the existing bridge.
All lanes will reopen Monday morning at 5 a.m.
Motorists will be allowed to use the on- and off-ramps at Peytonsville Road to bypass the closure; however, drivers are urged to avoid the area if possible to reduce delays.
Alternates include I-24 and SR 840.
