Ravenwood Rowers Compete at Music City Head Race

For their first race of the fall season, Rowers from Ravenwood High School competed in the inaugural Music City Head Race on Saturday, October 1st on the Cumberland River in Nashville, Tennessee.  The 35 event regatta was hosted by Vanderbilt University and Nashville Rowing.

Representing Nashville Juniors Rowing, freshmen Connor Mackey rowed in the #3 seat in the Men's Youth Novice 8+.  Alex Park was in the #7 seat in  the Men's Youth Novice 8+ and the #3 seat in the Men's Youth Novice 4+.  Junior Chase Yarbrough rowed in the #4 seat in the Men's Youth 4x and the #4 seat in the Men's Youth 8+.  Danielle Giovannette rowed in the bow seat with the Women's Youth Novice 8+.  Jordan Marger rowed in the bow seat for the Women's Youth Novice 4 and in seat #5 for the Womens' Youth Novice 8+.  Senior Jess Mixon rowed in the Women's Youth 2- and in the #4 seat in the Women's Youth 4+.
